Since 2012, the Baw Baw Big Blokes BBQ has raised more than $2.21M+ for men’s health — funding the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia nationally while keeping a strong focus on programs right across West Gippsland.

Funds raised through sponsorship, table sales and other fundraising activity support local men’s health initiatives across Baw Baw Shire, and national initiatives through the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. Here’s what that’s looked like:
$2.21M+ raised across 13+ years for men’s health, prostate cancer awareness and local community initiatives
Financial support provided to Mindfull Aus, helping reach over 5,000 locals through community events and awareness campaigns
Mental health awareness training delivered to Year 10 students across Baw Baw Shire, through a partnership with Live4Life
Prostate cancer awareness initiatives delivered locally, encouraging men over 40 to speak to their GP
$870,000 donated directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia
First Aid Level 1 training delivered to more than 8,800 Year 9 students across Baw Baw Shire
Support provided to West Gippsland Healthcare Group, including funding for local medical equipment and vulnerable patient care packages
Support provided to numerous other local charities and community groups across West Gippsland
